Why did you decide to enter Jersey’s Best Workplace?
We decided to take part in Jersey’s Best Workplace because we truly value a positive workplace culture at Legend. This survey helped us see how we stack up against others in the industry and gave us some genuine insights into how our team feels about what we offer.
What was the most valuable thing you learned from the experience?
The biggest takeaway was the power of open communication. Our team shared their thoughts openly, which reminded us how much they appreciate being able to express their views. It was great to see that willingness to engage in an external evaluation and check in with how we're doing compared to others.
How do you ensure a future-focused experience in your business?
We keep our sights set on the future by nurturing a work environment that grows creativity and flexibility. By providing professional opportunities and promoting a healthy work-life balance, we empower our younger team members to flourish.

As Legend grows, it’s vital for us to attract top talent. By understanding and addressing what our current and future teammates need, we can build a motivated and engaged workforce that drives innovation and adapts to changes.

Why is it so important for the long-term success of your business?
Putting engagement first is key for our long-term success since it closely links with productivity, retention and loyalty. When our team is happy and engaged, they're more likely to deliver great work and contribute positively to our culture.
What stood out from the feedback? Were there any surprises?
It was heartwarming to see in writing that our team's Monday mornings are filled with motivation and positivity. Knowing that they find fulfillment in their work speaks volumes about the incredible people we have at Legend. One eye-opener was that our team wants to see Legend involved more in local charity and community events, which is now on our agenda for 2025.
How will you build on the feedback to shape your business?
We’ll take this feedback and blend it with our internal engagement survey. We’ll share the insights with our management team so they can keep the conversation going with their groups. We're also planning to explore community involvement opportunities over the next year and beyond to strengthen our local contributions.
